Angie's Pizza

Love Angie's, totally unique. Best when eaten at the place, but takeout is still great. This review was 6 years old and I am updating based on a new owner and beautiful remodel job of the place. The crust is a bit thinner than it used to be but it still tastes like the same classic Angie's to me! I love the new menu, pizza only, two types: classic and Italian style with a good selection of toppings. Nice new tap system great atmosphere and excellent service. I have been going here for 45 years and hope to for 45 more!

Our goto Pizza whenever we visit family in Dickson City. Unique pie, very cheesy with a crunchy crust. Great service…friendly and accommodating A+++++

The legendary and authentic Mid-Valley style pizza, which I have had for over 50 years (hard to believe), remains to be the original recipe and was great. Cooked perfectly. I had decided to try an order of the Buffalo wings (at the bar) with celery and blue cheese. They were cooked to perfection, tasted great and the hot buffalo sauce was delicious and generously applied to the order. They used very good quality chunky blue cheese dressing. The mixed drink was large and just right. The service was prompt and friendly with pricing on point. The remodel to the place make it modern and roomy (compared to the prior layout) with a really nice bar with several LED tvs. I look forward to trying the many new items on the menu in the future. The new owners did many tasteful improvements to the property and menu while respecting the original pizza recipe. Well done!

We absolutely love Angie's. The food is fabulous. The boneless wing sauce is wonderful. Along with their deep fried perogies and the 🍕 pizza has the perfect amount of mouth watering cheese. The pizza is made with self rising dough and America cheese. Fabulous!!! The waitresses are absolute dolls. Wonderful place for great food and a nice cold 🍺 beer!!!

Let me start by saying it's not a normal pizza. That being the sauce and cheese aren't separate. It's combined, and they use American cheese with others. If you like a pizza with American cheese. If you read reviews, then you know what I'm on about, not traditional. If this is how you like your pizza, then this is an amazing take on it. There is a reason why it's nationwide. I'm sorry I didn't provide any pictures of our pizzas we bought. It's because it was so good and the pictures were an afterthought. We bought 3 different plain, pepperoni, mushroom with xtra cheese. They came with adequate amounts of topping, and their pepperoni was to die for. I'm not a huge fan of pepperoni pizza. I actually bought this pizza for my sons friends. I wound up eating more of that pizza than the others. I'm not saying they weren't as good. It's just that they put a good quality pepperoni on and the combination of how they make their pizza plus the pepperoni. That was a 5-star pizza period. As for my experience waiting amd picking up. We ordered on a Friday. The pizza was ready in 30 min. That was a quick turn on one of the busiest days of the week. My interaction with staff was pleasant and reassuring. I couldn't have had a better experience. I absolutely recommend Angie's for a stress free and excellent experience in every way.

Hometown Small town restaurant and Pizza. Authentic round cheese pizza ( not New York style) it has its own taste, some call it mid valley style. Angie's has been around 40+ years I remember going there as a child, last year they gave it a nice remodel. Now it's a great place to have a few draft beer catch a game on Sunday or whatever your pleasure. The family that runs it are top notch, friendly and the place is spotless.
